Ingrid Hoffmann is passionate about food and entertaining and spends each day sharing her enthusiasm and talent with an international audience. Ingrid launched Simply Delicioso on Food Network in July 2007 and also hosts her own Spanish-language cooking and lifestyle show, Delicioso, since 2004, on Galavision/Univision. Following the success of both TV shows, Ingrid published her first cookbook, SIMPLY DELICIOSO: A Collection of Everyday Recipes with a Latin Twist (February 2008, Clarkson Potter/Random House), as well as a Spanish edition, DELICIOSO: Una Colección de Mis Recetas Favoritas con Sabor Latino (November, 2008). On September 2009, Ingrid joined the renown Got Milk ad campaign, sporting a mustache for both the general and Hispanic market. She also contributes a monthly culinary column to People en Español and launched her own cookware line, Simply Delicioso with Ingrid Hoffmann by T-Fal and a Furi cutlery and kitchen accessories line on HSN in November 2009.

Ingrid's fascination with food, cooking and style began as a little girl. She started cooking with her mother, a Cordon Bleu chef, at such a young age that she needed a stool to reach the stove. With her mother she discovered not only a love of cooking, but found a flair for entertaining, and in no time developed her own distinctive style.

Paving the way for her on-air experience, Ingrid served as a regular decorating and cooking contributor to BuenHogar, the Spanish version of Good HouseKeeping, and published a bi-monthly syndicated column in the Rumbo chain of Spanish daily newspapers. She was featured in People’s 100 Most Beautiful issue for 2008 and has made appearances on Ellen, Oprah, The Bonnie Hunt Show, Martha Stewart, Regis & Kelly and is a frequent contributor of The Today Show, The Early Show, Good Morning America, Despierta America and more.

Ingrid’s success has also given her the opportunity to give back to the community; she is currently a board member of New York City’s Food and Education Fund and supports Miami’s Amigos for Kids, Belive for Colombia Foundations and the Humane Society of Greater Miami.
